Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I read the message of Peace, Dialogue and Reconciliation of Ntumfor Nico Halle, Spokesman of North West Fons’ Union. Much as I appreciate his endeavour to broker peace, I wish to point out that the mastery of facts is very necessary in conflict mediation and resolution.

The Sun is truly rising.
Hi Folks,
Rising early was a way of life in Sasse College. On a bright dry season morning, one could see the gold ball of the sun crawling confidently from the eastern sky, turning red as it got higher in the morning sky. Today, after first surfing your web site a week or so ago, I returned to once more watch how The Sun is rising from the south-eastern sky of continental U.S.A.Yes, The Sun is gradually and surely illuminating the morning sky of Cameroonian Journalism. read more...

Thanks For The Site

Dear Editor

I write to congratulate you and your team for this excellent and informative news portal. For some time now I have been yearning for a source of reliable, in-depth and balance reports from Cameroon and I am grateful to have found one. I appreciate the conditions under which the press in Cameroon operates but I am confident that with such an impressive start you would be able to accomplish your goals. It is unfortunate to note that all along the press and the civil society have been lagging behind in the efforts to bring meaningful change in Cameroon. Too much emphasis has been on political parties. I therefore welcome a press organ that would not only be informative, but one that would carry out investigations and inspire the people to better "appreciates" their government. I just feel confident that you and your team would be up to the task.

Thanks for the site.

Letter to The Editor

I want to sincerely congratulate the team of the newborn tabloid, The Sun. I must confess that only the name is new. From the content of articles the paper is as old as our newspaper, L'Effort Camerounais.
The print quality is perfect, the content of the articles excellent, lay out irresistible. We hope you keep it up and avoid falling prey to journalism of the stomach.
As you put it, "Nothing is hidden under the sun," so we don't want to see you hide anything from your readers.

Aloysius Agendia
Desk Editor,
L'Effort Camerounais,
